Haapsalu sall - osa 2/part 2

Vihdoin se on valmis! Äiti auttoi ja päätteli sekä ompeli reunapitsit kiinni, mutta onpa lopputulos aika hieno. Nyt en kyllä koske vähään aikaan mohair-lankaan ollenkaan.

Finally it's finished! Mom helped and hid the yarn ends and sewed the lace edgings into the scarf. The final result looks pretty awesome. I won't touch mohair yarn for awhile, though.

Haapsalu sall - osa 1/part 1

Olen vihdoin saanut Haapsalu-huivini neulontaosuuden valmiiksi. Äiti lupasi auttaa kokoonompelemisessa ja päättelemisessä. Malli on Karukellakiri 1 Siiri Reinmannin ja Aime Edasin kirjasta Haapsalu sall. Aivan ihana kirja, johon sorruin kun kävin Tallinnassa ja tuli vaihdettua turhan paljon krooneja.

I have finally finished knitting my Haapsalu scarf. My mom promised to help me with sewing it together and hiding the yarn ends. Model is Karukellakiri 1 from Haapsalu sall by Siiri Reinmann and Aime Edasi (the book is in Estonian). I love the book, I bought it from Tallinn when I had some leftover krooni.
